Natya Kala Mandhir in collaboration with the High Commission of India presents 'Sri Raama Raajyam' on the 14th of October 2022 - 6pm at Saraswathie Hall, Bambalapitiya.
Today, students of Natya Kala Mandhir had the opportunity to learn 'Janaki Kavuthuvam' under the guidance of Dr. Jeyanthy Yogharajah , Director of Salangai Nartanalaya - Academy of Fine Arts UK.

Bharatanatyam workshop, was held on 27th March at Colombo Tamil Sangam, Sankarapillai hall. Presented to you by the senior students of Natya Kala Mandhir under the guidance of Guru Kalasuri Smt. Vasugy Jegatheeswaran. Senchotselvan Sri S Vishvanathan, the senior broadcaster graced the occasion.
Artists of Natya Kala Mandhir along with their guru Vasugy Jegatheeswaran participated in a workshop themed under, Symposium on Bharatanatyam conducted by Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay and Apsaras Arts Dance Company. Special thanks to Ms Nirmala John for coordinating this workshop for Sri Lankan artists.
Smt Vasugy Jegatheeswaran received her prestigious lifetime achievement award (Aacharya Kala Sagara) a while ago at Griffin Exam Board - UK's global award ceremony!!! One of her disciples received this award on behalf of her.
